since 2004, the development of RFID standards in China has started with difficulty, adhering to the standard strategy of "combining independent innovation with openness and compatibility". While opening to the outside world, interconnection and compatibility, we have better understood the importance of independent innovation and seizing the commanding heights of standards and patents and mastering the initiative of industrial development. In October, 2005, the former Ministry of Information Industry approved the establishment of the "electronic label standard working group", which made it clear that the task of the standard working group is to unite all sectors of society to carry out research on electronic label standards, and take enterprises as the main body to carry out pre research, formulation and revision of relevant standards. At present, the RFID standard working group has formally applied for the registration of 96 enterprises and institutions, and set up seven special working groups to carry out the standard formulation work. Up to now, there are 24 national standard projects and 10 industrial standards under development

the development of RFID standards in China needs to be strengthened first. At present, the investment of the government is seriously insufficient, and there is a significant gap between the capital and manpower invested by domestic enterprises in the research and development of RFID core technology compared with foreign enterprises. The RFID technology of the vast majority of domestic enterprises is still in the stage of following and referring to foreign advanced technology, and there are few enterprises that can independently innovate and own RFID core technology with independent intellectual property rights. In addition, domestic enterprises lack experience in converting scientific research achievements into standards, and lack awareness of the importance of formulating RFID standards for China's independent intellectual property rights. More importantly, they adopt international standards to make their products meet international standards. In my opinion, adopting and using the existing international standards to transform the coal-fired furnace of the plastic granulator system has become an important issue to be solved urgently. It must be only one aspect. For a developing country with a population of 1.3 billion, we should pay more attention to the independent development of Chinese standards and actively participate in the formulation of international standards

in 2004, the national gold card project listed the establishment of RFID application pilot as a key work and actively promoted it. In 2006, 23 departments (industries) jointly established the RFID application working group of the national gold card office, and actively and safely launched the relevant RFID application pilot work in departments and places where conditions permit. Under the joint promotion of the relevant departments involved in the construction of the national gold card project and the first batch of 12 pilot provinces and cities, China's RFID industry has made gratifying progress in recent years, closely focusing on the theme of improving people's livelihood, benefiting the people and building a harmonious society. For the safety supervision of food and drugs, the safety production of coal mines, the real-time, dynamic and traceable management of dangerous goods and important materials, fruitful pilot work has been carried out in the ticket management of major events and important activities such as the Beijing Olympic Games, as well as the dynamic supervision and modern logistics management of railway, transportation, civil aviation, post and ocean transportation, and remarkable progress and preliminary results have been achieved

in order to promote the RFID application pilot work of the national gold card project, China has initially established public service platforms such as RFID technology-based electronic label product detection center, software interoperability center and radio detection center, and is establishing China's independent item coding system to promote information exchange and resource sharing among applications in various industries

build a complete industrial chain

since its establishment in 2005, China RFID industry alliance has 238 formal members and more than 400 participating enterprises. From the design and production of core chips of electronic labels, to reading and writing machines, antennas, communication network products, software middleware, as well as cross departmental (industry) information exchange and fund settlement of gold card engineering, large-scale application systems have been applied on a large scale. The diameter of the third-party detection and certification ability is 40mm, and the public service level has also been greatly improved. China's RFID industry chain has initially taken shape. Among them, the low-frequency and high-frequency RFID industry chains are relatively mature, especially in the high-frequency field. Domestic manufacturers have reached the international level in product accuracy and performance stability, and chip technology has basically reached the foreign level. In the field of UHF, the domestic industrial chain is not yet mature. Although some products have been developed, they still need to be further tackled, and the relevant standards need to be further improved. In the microwave field, domestic enterprises are still in the research and development stage, and there is a large gap with foreign countries. High frequency RFID applications will remain the mainstream in the short term, but UHF and microwave are the development direction in the future

at present, the RFID industrial chain is gradually expanding, and a complete industrial chain integrating electronic information industry, software industry, communication operation and business, information service industry and application and system integration center for various related industries is gradually forming. The cohesion of the golden card engineering application alliance has been continuously strengthened

develop RFID standards with independent intellectual property rights through the standards working group, expand RFID applications through the gold card project, and gradually improve the RFID industry chain through the industrial alliance. This will not only promote the development of China's RFID industry, but also promote the process of China's IOT. China's RFID industry should strengthen the communication and exchange with the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain in the development of IOT, continue to adhere to the combination of production and use, implement the policy of integrated development of industrialization and industrialization, and through continuous exchange of the progress and experience of RFID application pilot work, study and solve the existing problems and bottlenecks restricting development, so that the key RFID application pilot that has been launched at present can gradually transition from closed-loop application to open-loop application, so as to meet the advent of the era of IOT.
