Fujifilm establishes a new "closed-loop" recycling mechanism for waste aluminum
Fujifilm Co., Ltd. will be able to carry out data processing and experiments in accordance with the requirements of gb/t228 "tensile test method for metallic materials at room temperature". This is a part of the overall system method of our cooperation with customers. The closed-loop recycling and reuse plan of waste aluminum will be launched in October 2011, This aluminum is the main raw material of CTP/PS offset plates of our company, which is mainly used in printing companies and newspapers. Through cooperation with printing companies, newspapers, aluminum recycling companies, alloy manufacturers, rolling mills, etc., we will continue to promote this recycling and reuse plan and achieve a significant reduction in environmental load
in order to ensure the brush resistance, water retention, dirt resistance, etc. of offset CTP plate/ps plate and ensure good printing performance, high-purity aluminum is used. Therefore, traditionally, this will seriously damage the accuracy of hydraulic valves and cylinders, and a new aluminum ingot is used. However, to manufacture new aluminum ingots requires new resources and a lot of energy. There are different buttons and control keys in the universal data experimental machine, which will have a great impact on the environment
Fujifilm established a closed-loop recycling and reuse system of waste aluminum in 2007 to ensure the recycling and reuse of waste aluminum that is not used as products, such as test samples and waste materials generated in the production process. In inhibiting the mixing of impurities in the process of recycling and reuse, and producing and providing high-quality CTP version/ps version, we have accumulated a large number of impressive achievements in closed-loop recycling and reuse
in order to further reduce its impact on the environment, Fujifilm has established a new closed-loop recycling mechanism of CTP version/ps version, which is mainly used in printing companies and newspapers. The specific measures are that in the group company, FR, which promotes the recycling plan, recycles the used CTP version/ps version manufactured by the company through aluminum recycling companies (*3) trading with printing companies and newspapers. Then, the partner alloy manufacturer refines the used CTP version/ps version, and then the rolling manufacturer uses the heavy recycled aluminum ingot to process the high-purity aluminum coil required for CTP version/ps version production. Fujifilm will use the high-purity aluminum roll as raw material to produce high-quality CTP version/ps version in Yoshida South factory
through this new recycling mechanism, putting recycled aluminum into the production process, from the manufacturing of aluminum ingots to the production of CTP version/ps version, the carbon dioxide emissions generated can be reduced by up to 63% compared with the use of brand-new aluminum ingots (* 1)
in order to further expand this recycling plan, Fujifilm provided printing companies and newspapers with the company's original environmental sign plate to plate sign according to the ISO14021 international standard for environmental signs (type II environmental signs), to prove that the enterprise participated in this activity. In the future, participating enterprises will achieve the effect of effectively utilizing resources and reducing environmental load by displaying the logo on printed materials
in the future, Fujifilm will take the lead in taking various measures to actively contribute to the popularization of environmental protection printing, including improving the quality of resource recycling and reuse and preventing global warming, so as to contribute to the low-carbon economy, environmental protection and sustainable development of the earth in the 21st century
